Turbocharge Your Events by Unleashing Their Networking Power

Join HSMAI DC as we partner with the Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs) for a special summer educational program and networking. You will learn along with meeting professionals as Lee Gimpel, founder of Better Meetings, presents Turbocharge Your Events by Unleashing Their Networking Power.

Learn seven easy techniques to quickly improve your events’ networking. Surveys reveal that 90% of an event’s value may come from networking. Join this fun, hands-on session to learn how to create an engaging environment where your attendees will truly connect. Maximize your event’s value and replace random small talk with high-impact, enjoyable conversations. Far from awkward icebreakers, you’ll experience proven techniques to supercharge meetings. Plus, rather than passively watching a lecture, you’ll actually be able to practice what you learn with your fellow meeting planning peers!

This program will be live streamed and although parts of it will be beneficial to virtual attendees, the small group discussions will not be available to virtual participants.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn 7 networking techniques to apply to your own events.
2. Understand the connection between networking quality, satisfaction, and event profitability.
3. Identify a practical opportunity within your own events to improve connection.
