Dear HSMAI Washington DC Members and Friends,

One of the things that makes our chapter so special is the dedication of our members to learning, networking, and supporting one another. Thank you for your continued engagement and for helping make HSMAI Washington DC a thriving community for hospitality professionals throughout our region.

I also want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who joined us for our State of the Industry program at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf. It was an outstanding afternoon of thought-provoking discussion, valuable market insights, and meaningful connections with industry colleagues. Programs like this are only successful because of the participation and enthusiasm of our members, and we appreciate everyone who attended.

While we've already enjoyed some fantastic events this year, there's still plenty to look forward to as we close out the calendar. I encourage you to join us for one—or better yet, both—of our remaining educational programs:

• Building Smarter Hotel Demand: A CHDM-Inspired Workshop for Hotel Leaders on September 10 at Hyatt Place Washington DC National Mall, an interactive session exploring today's evolving marketing, demand generation, and commercial strategies.
• DMV Commercial Leadership Conference on October 7 at MGM National Harbor, where current and emerging commercial leaders will come together to discuss the future of integrated hospitality leadership.

If you're looking for another way to connect with the chapter, I also encourage you to consider volunteering for one of our committees. Whether your interests are in Education, Marketing & Communications, or Membership, serving on a committee is a rewarding opportunity to expand your network, develop professionally, and help shape the future of our chapter. Our success depends on engaged volunteers, and we'd be delighted to welcome you to the team.
