David C. Attardi

David Attardi As Vice President of Interactive Marketing, David Attardi leads the B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's strategic on-and-off-line marketing initiatives.  Through such areas as search engine optimization; search engine marketing; online reputation management; web conversions and analytics; customer relationship marketing; public relations; print collateral design and development; brand positioning; content management; and web design, David's team is responsible for driving top-line revenue through all distribution channels.  In addition to being the senior executive of the company's $35 million e-commerce initiative, David works in lock-step with the Hospitality Group's senior leadership team to create and execute holistic revenue strategies to grow market share and top-line performance.  David's team is also responsible for equipping the direct sales departments with first-class sales tools.
 
Simply put, the interactive marketing team's job is to ensure that people are finding, booking, AND talking about B. F. Saul hotels across ALL channels, on and off line.
 
David brings a wide breadth of marketing and business experience to the table. With multi-industry marketing experience, David's background is as diverse as it is unique.  Before joining the B. F. Saul Company in 2007, David served as the Program Leader for CIMBA Undergraduate, a business-focused undergraduate study abroad program in Paderno del Grappa, Italy, where he spent two years running the program and leading it to its highest customer evaluation scores in school history. 
 
Prior to moving to Italy, David was the Managing Director of Cultural Capital Group, Inc., a cause-related marketing company that he co-founded in 2002.  From there he joined the Studer Group, a national leader in health care consultancy based in Pensacola, FL, where he championed a new initiative designed to engage small, rural hospitals with Studer Group's tools and practices. 
 
In addition, David is actively engaged in several leadership positions within the hospitality industry, including Founder and Chair of the IHG Owners Association's Emerging Leaders Council, and a Board member for the Washington, DC chapter of HSMAI. 
 
David holds a double bachelor's degree in public relations and theatre arts from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from the University of Kansas' international business program in northern Italy, the Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA).
